SPRING FORWARD!!! FALL BACK!!!
“The amount of sleep required by the average person is just five minutes more. ~Unknown”
Don’t know if you’re one of those people who just bounds out of bed, wide awake, ready to start the day or maybe, you’re like me–always wishing for just five more minutes of rest. Either way–let’s talk about the time change. Just happened last weekend. Took two days to have all the clocks updated to the right time. Finally got them all on track, after I called Daughter #1 an hour early to see why she wasn’t home from work yet. That didn’t go over too well. Hmm. Can’t imagine why she thinks I’m dumb. And that wasn’t as bad as Daughter #3 (I call her the Early Riser). Usually, it’s a good thing to have the Early Riser wide awake to keep the rest of us in line–but not Monday. Monday, the Early Riser decided that since her clock shows 5:00 am, it must be 6. Why? Let’s not even go there. It’s just too early. However–there she stood–in my room–trying to convince me that I should be awake an hour too early. She should have known better. I wasn’t budging from my cozy bed. I still had five more minutes–or 60.
Today’s task is to find the ordinary things that happen in your day and make them extraordinary–or at least find something in them that makes you laugh. You are the Best and good things are coming your way. And today will be the perfect opportunity to use your time wisely. To hit that snooze alarm just one more time is a choice. The choice is yours. Make me proud–now let’s get moving!
