Ever heard the story about the guy sitting with firewood in his arms on a cold, freezing night and he yells at the pot-bellied stove, “When you give me some heat, then I’ll put some wood in.” ~Robert Kiyosaki
Need money? Give away some money. That crazy girl! I’m broke, but she wants me to give away what I have. Then, I’ll really be broke–NO, you won’t. Money will arrive at your doorstep or in your mailbox–in the exact amount that you just happen to need. I’ve done it! It happens! Need love? Show some love. Why should I love somebody when they don’t love me? Try it! You might be surprised. Need a smile? Give someone else a smile. Why should I smile? No one is even being nice today–no one is smiling at me. Smile and your smile will be returned ten-fold. Your world is a mirror of you. Try it! It’s absolutely true.
Today’s task is to find something that you really need–and GIVE some of it away. Whatever you choose to give away will come back to you–however small or large, the choice is yours. Think you’re tough enough to take today’s challenge? Give something away and you will receive far more than you ever dreamed. Try it! I dare you! You are the Best and I have no doubt that good things are coming your way. And today will be a day filled with unexpected surprises. Make me proud! Let go and believe. Watch as it happen!

“Spend more time dreaming while you’re awake.” Unknown
What a great concept!
I’m taking a dream catcher to the office tomorrow and hanging it where it will catch my eye many times a day, as a reminder to spend more time dreaming when I’m awake. What’s a dream catcher, you ask? It comes from Indian folklore as a pretty, circular piece of artwork designed like a spider’s web on the inside and decorated colorfully with feathers. Its purpose? It is hung where you sleep to filter out the bad dreams and allow you to only have good dreams. I can handle that—asleep or awake. How ’bout you?
So, today’s task is to remember that we all had plenty of dreams when we were kids, right? How about dreaming a few dreams today? Think you’re tough enough to revive a few old dreams or dream a few new ones? The sky’s the limit. You are the Best! And today will be just a little reminder to spend some time dreaming–you are wonderful, you have talents, you have dreams that deserve to see the light of day. Let’s get started. Make me proud! Be the Dream Catcher!!!

Never was much into sports and playing the piano was a solitary practice, but of late, I’ve been learning about the teamwork necessary to become a winning team–the realization that a team composed of members with average ability can beat a team with highly talented individuals who do not look out for each other or work together. Seems it’s taken me a lifetime to come to grips with the fact that no matter how hard I work, my work is pointless if I don’t have the assistance of those around me. I’m learnin’! I’m learnin’!
So, today’s task is to be disciplined enough to realize that you can be diplomatic in how you work with others–still getting the results you were hoping for, but not ruffling feathers along the way. Take a minute to look for a deserved compliment for a team member–and offer it–and letting someone else take the credit when it may belong to you isn’t ever a bad idea–the people who really matter know whose idea and hard work it was anyway.
Today we’re going to put some extra emphasis on working together, as a team, to reach the end of the rainbow. Together, we can get there. Each person does their part to be a strong link and together, we are an unbreakable chain. You are the Best! And today will be a chance to prove that together, as friends, co-workers, or family, working together, we can take home the win. Stretch yourself beyond your capacity today–just a bit–and more tomorrow–and before you know it, when facing even the toughest of challenges, we can bring home the gold. Make me proud! Go Team!

Does it ever seem that the most interesting people you’ve ever met were interesting because they listened? They were interested in you. They took the time to hear what you had to say and asked questions and gave you the time you needed to tell your story.
So, today’s task is to take the time to be interested in others, instead of working to be the most interesting person at the party, in the room, or in the crowd and you will stand out, hands down, as the most interesting person they have ever met. You are the Best and good things are coming your way! And today will be your opportunity to shine. Remember, I’m expecting great things from you. Make me proud!!!
